Playing With Play Moods in Movement-based Design

New design approaches focus on the lived body’s capacity for sensing, feeling, and creating (Loke & Robertson, 2011) are emerging in sport, health, game, play, innovation. These approaches' engagement physical movement movement-based learning becomes focal designing new practices, artifacts, interaction designs games. In design, a playful mindset is medium movement, which unifies with understanding of playfulness as facilitator creativity (Bateson Martin 2013). Aspects play also recognised to lower performance anxiety, spurring conceptualising ideas (Segura et al., 2016). The paper takes starting point triad (Skovbjerg, 2013) state that more than an instrument stimulating insights but meaningful practice moods. Operationalising this aims analyse how different practices moods unfold two workshops. Further discuss perspective mood can provide recommendations design.
